After working for several local accounting firms in San Antonio, he took advantage of an opportunity to start his own practice in 1991. By focusing on the need of each client and providing reliable tax preparation and bookkeeping services Victor's practice began to grow. Today he still has clients that have been with him since day one. "I consider it a blessing when a client comes back year after year and I definitely do no take that for granted".

In 1998 he was part of an audit team where he met Jorge Herrera. Soon after, Jorge and Victor decided to share office space. Their common belief in providing a good service to the client, in the importance of family, and in the Catholic faith led to a great friendship in addition to a successful business relationship which continues today.
